Coastal Waters Forecast for East Central Florida

Poor to hazardous boating conditions are forecast to continue into the weekend and through at least early next week. High pressure gradually strengthens over the local waters this weekend, allowing onshore flow to increase and a long period swell to develop. Intermittent scattered showers begin on Friday and continue into next week.
Atlantic coastal waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out 60 nm. Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GULF STREAM HAZARDS.North-northeast winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts as high as 30 knots. Seas 8 to 10 feet, decreasing to 7 to 8 feet tonight. The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream based on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Wednesday, December 11th. 45 nautical miles east of Ponce Inlet. 35 nautical miles east of Port Canaveral. 26 nautical miles east of Sebastian Inlet. 17 nautical miles east of Fort Pierce Inlet. 10 nautical miles east of Saint Lucie Inlet.
